How do I get clients?

Check out Step 2 in the Onboarding Hub — it's all about getting clients with Grow! Learn how to manage your client referrals, and keep in mind you can turn off referrals at any time.

Which insurances do I accept?

We recommend accepting all insurance types to maximize your profile's visibility to all prospective clients. You have the ability to determine which insurances you’d like to accept within your Provider Portal, and you can make changes at any time. Learn more about managing your accepted insurance plans.

How do clients schedule an appointment with me?

Clients search for providers on the Grow Therapy Directory. When a client finds a provider they’re interested in, they can directly book their appointment based on the provider's availability. You can update your availability at any time.

How do I view and edit my upcoming appointments?

You can view your upcoming appointments on your Grow calendar (in the Provider Portal) or on your synced calendar. If you need to reschedule or cancel an upcoming appointment, you can do so from your Grow calendar. Learn how to manage your Grow calendar.

How do I communicate with clients?

You can message your clients through Grow’s messaging platform within your Provider Portal — learn how to get started with messaging. You’ll also receive your client’s phone number and email address.

How do I hold my first session?

You’ll hold your appointments via Grow Therapy Telehealth, our consistent, secure video conferencing software that is integrated into the Grow platform and accessible from your Provider Portal dashboard. Learn more about how to use Grow Therapy Telehealth to see clients.

How do I input notes for each session?

Grow provides a comprehensive EHR that allows you to input notes for each client following a session. Learn more about how to use client notes (as a therapist or as a prescriber). We also recommend viewing our clinical documentation materials for guidance on the content your notes should contain.

How do I submit an invoice for a session?

After you’ve completed your session, all you’ll need to do is input your notes and select the client’s diagnosis and appointment type. You never have to worry about charging a client’s copay, and Grow will process the claim for you! Learn more about submitting invoices and check out our billing best practices.

To ensure a smooth billing experience, please note that all invoices must be submitted within 14 days of the scheduled appointment date and time.

How do I get paid?

Grow Therapy payouts are issued via direct deposit to your bank account via Stripe, which you’ll connect to through your Provider Portal. Insurance claims typically take 14–21 days to process; cash payments take about 7 days. Claims that are successfully processed are paid out every Friday.
