Take some time to consider what a beneficial client load is for you to succeed — without burning out. Connect your calendar, and set your availability accordingly.
As you grow and change, so should your profile. Consider your profile as a living document. We recommend refreshing it every 2-3 months to keep it relevant and accurate.
Yes, you are required to sync a personal calendar to Grow Therapy before accepting clients. This helps ensure you remain aware of all your Grow Therapy appointment bookings while preventing unwanted double bookings. Any appointments or events on the synced calendar will appear unavailable on your Grow Therapy calendar.
No, clients cannot see any events that are on your calendar. All clients will ever see are the dates and times that you are marked as available.
As a Grow Therapy provider, you can indicate your availability so that existing and prospective clients can request convenient appointments that align with your preferred workflow and schedule. These scheduling preferences include:
General Availability, such as 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday
Services Offered, such as In-Person or Virtual
Appointment Lengths by session type, such as initial versus follow-up
Start time increments, such as every 15, 30, or 60 minutes
Any appointments on your calendar will block those times from appearing available to other clients to prevent double booking.
At Grow, we understand everyone — including mental health care providers — needs time to unplug and recharge from work. However, uncertainty and stress often accompany stepping away from your practice and patients.
The out-of-office scheduling option in your Grow Therapy calendar aims to provide peace of mind, knowing clients are informed of when you aren’t available while you take care of your well-being.

While your scheduling preferences determine your overall availability, there are often specific recurring events, such as lunch, or one-off events, such as a day off, that you will want to block on your calendar to prevent client bookings. This is quickly and easily done via your connected calendar. Learn how to block times on your calendar here.
